Maha Kali

Mohemian I am no expert on Hindu mythology, but if there is one thing I know, it is that you better not mess with Kali, the goddess of creation and destruction.
The rather ambivalent divine concept also transcends into the music of this solo project from Post Rock trio Kyoty. Think of early Iron Maiden on Norwegian Black Metal and you catch my drift. The outcome actually has a pretty thrashy feel to it.
Maha Kali certainly is no melodic highlight, but it succeeds in putting across an eerie atmosphere. Favorite track: Adya Dhyanam.
